>ELITE TRANSPORT COMPANY DEVELOPMENT : STAFF MEMO

The Board of Directors would like to take this opportunity to keep you our valued members of staff informed of the development of our company. Most of you will be aware that a decision was taken 18 months ago to develop the company to a new level, and it was the Board’s intention to become a top 5 UK container trucking company.

A business plan was drafted and objectives set in order to realize the desired targets, it was anticipated that the level of growth required would take up to 3 years, we are absolutely delighted to advise that we are way ahead of our 3 year plan and most of the targets set for years 2 and 3 will be achieved in this financial year (July 07 – June08)

Our volume growth over prior year has been quite remarkable especially when taking in to account all of the various problems encountered, particularly around the crane collapse at Southampton and the accident at Felixstowe caused by high winds. In addition the UK retailers are facing difficult times due to the credit crunch and other factors making the consumer more frugal towards their high street spending.

At Elite we are enjoying a 30% volume growth over prior year which is the envy of our competitors; this is even more pleasing as we have managed to achieve this during exceptional circumstances, particularly with the spiralling cost of fuel which is placing extreme pressure on our industry and the economy as whole. We will exceed £30 million turnover in this financial year, again a revenue growth of 33% over prior year. Our customer base has also dramatically increased and we now work for around 130 different customers on a daily basis.

As we moved in to the next level it became absolutely imperative that we maintained a firm control of all our costs, which becomes even more important as a business develops to the stage we now have.

We have continued our development to our Network, and with the addition of Thamesport in March 08 this now gives us one of the most extensive networks in the sector, we will continue to look at the best opportunity for our next expansion to the network, and it is hoped that we could be in a position to announce our intentions before the end of this year (2008).

We will take delivery of 60 new owned vehicles through the rest of this year and early 2009 and 100 trailers were received late 07 and early 08 with even more coming on fleet during the remainder of this year.

It is hoped that this brief insight in to the company’s development and financial investment gives you a clear indication of the intention the Board of Directors and owners have for the long term future of Elite Transport, it gives us all great comfort in the knowledge that both David and Gary have the determination and desire to transform our company in to a market leader for the container transport sector.

Finally, we recognise that our outstanding achievements would not have been possible without the excellent work of our staff and drivers, we would like to thank you all for your hard work during the growth of the company, we must be prepared for some difficult times ahead and rise to the challenges that will undoubtedly be presented to us in the next financial year, but with your continued support we are confident that we can continue to meet the demands and goals we have set to take us to our next stage of development.

Yours sincerely ,
BOARD OF DIRECTORS
